We almost threw this out when we built the hen house. The house finch built a nest in an old metal watering can I had hanging on the side of the storage/tool shed. Found it and hung it back up in the hen house. Had to make a window in the hen house so the house finch could come and go. She is permanent now. She is working on 2nd bunch already. They love the chicken feed provide for them.
The broke ground this year. Had a little garden last year but since everyone is chipping it we could make it bigger.
Pole beans.
Tomatoes.
New strawberry bed.
Fruit tree.
These are 1 1/2 month old red hens. I have Marans due the last of the month.
Beth had to have a couple of Turkens. She felt sorry for them.
The Hen House turned out really well.
To make room for FBCM we have to sell out a few of our other chickens. Just keeping the Rhode Island Reds for eggs.

This is one pond Garland made for me in 2000. He did it all by hand.
This is a water wheel with small koi and goldfish in it. It is right by my bedroom window. It turns slowly and spills over and you can listen to it all day and night.
Here is a dove fountain that we salvaged. It was made in 1989. It is dated and we refurbished it.

CoCo has Passed in 2009 from accident. It was just all I could take to have to put him down because his inguries were not repairable. It was my renegade son and he will be missed with all my heart.
The we have the sweet natured Yorkie named L.D. Little. named after Lt. Dan of Forest Gump
Sarah has been added to our family. This is probably the last home she will have due to her age and her health. But she will be happy being well cared.
LD sure does seem to like her. He has adopted her as his companion to watch over.
This is some homemade soap I made. I added lots of fragrance so it will fill the room with lavender scent when not in use. For sell on my etsy.
